2010 Spring Chicken Race packet
The Spring Chicken Sprint Adventure Race is back on! Join us Sunday May 23 for what is sure to be one of the most unique adventure races Central Oregon has ever seen. We have partnered with the BIAK National Guard Training Center in Redmond to put on one wacky race. This race features up to 5 miles of orienteering, 15 miles of mountain biking, rappelling, paintball target practice, and some things that are top secret.
Duration: 3-5 hours; this race will be rogaine style meaning teams must strategically choose which checkpoints to find or abandon to complete the race within the time provided.
Distance: <15 miles MTB, <5 miles of trekking
Disciplines: Mountain Biking, Orienteering, Rappelling, Paintball (targets only), and some other stuff
Gear: You are responsible for all of your running and biking gear, climbing equipment and paintball guns are provided.

Divisions: Loner, Dynamic Duos, Three Amigos, and Fantastic Fours.
Prizes: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall, plus random stuff
Fees: $20 per person before May 19. $35 May 19-21. Registration closes May 21 at Noon, no on-site registration.
Support: This race is fully supported. Potable water will be available at the transition areas; transport will be available where/ if necessary.
Parking: Parking is available at the Start/Finish
Start/ Finish: BIAK Training Center in Redmond – direction will be included in the pre-race packet, which will be available 1 week prior to the event.
